Business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketing is different.

A person buying a product for themselves verses buying for their company is a very different emotional experience. You must remember, when developing your marketing activities, that B2B depends on relationship building marketing efforts. Using consumer-focused strategies to market your B2B business will, at best, just cost you money. And, in some cases, it may cost you customers.
