When Verducci's Market opened, a generic brand identity was used to get the business started. VisionWorks was called in when the owner felt the need to define the brand character, and revise the identity to reflect that character in a stronger way.

The target market was middle to upper income consumers of quality grocery products, living within fifteen miles of the retail store.
